What is the I-130 petition?
In general terms (informational guidance): the form through which a U.S. citizen or permanent resident asks for recognition of a family relationship for immigration purposes. It is a common step on family pathways; alone it does not complete the Green Card. Case applicability belongs to an independent attorney
What is a Green Card?
It is the common name for the document that proves lawful permanent residence in the United States. A Green Card holder may live and work in the country permanently, subject to the rules for maintaining that status. It is not U.S. citizenship
What is I-751?
It is the petition to remove conditions on permanent residence obtained through marriage (two-year conditional residence in many scenarios). It is a later step after the conditional Green Card, not the start of the family process
